AI is expected to impart literacy skills to children in a span of 18 months: Bill Gates

AI chatbots have the potential to enhance kids' reading and writing abilities in the next 18 months, as per Bill Gates, the co-founder of Microsoft. During a conversation at the ASU+GSV Summit in San Diego, Gates explained that AI chatbots will reach a point where they can be as good at tutoring as humans. In recent months, AI chatbots like OpenAI's ChatGPT and Google's Bard have made significant progress and can now match human intelligence on certain standardized tests. Teaching writing skills to computers has been challenging because they lack the human-like thinking process. However, AI chatbots can now recognize and reproduce language that resembles human language.
